Hillhead (Nr Brixham) - The Caravan Club South West Region AGM. So ends our caravaning for 2012. This was the year of our first rally, we've now done 4! Ploughing though the rally books I think we have 10 for next year already.
We arrived at Hillhead on Friday at 12:10 (no arrivals before noon) and were later disappointed to see riff raff who were let on to site after our arrival. Thanks to Andy for letting Phil know where we were!

The view from our rear window - not bad at all.
Friday night - a few beers and a quiz, followed by getting dragged onto the dance floor, really pleased that Sue has accepted, getting some ale down makes me a much more fluid dancer.
A really good night.

On return, we were in time for the South West AGM.We bumped into Steve and Di Kalus from the Gloucs center all decked out in finery. Feeling a bit sheepish in our hiking togs, we wondered if there was time to change first, but we were told they were only dressed up as Di was up for a committee post, most people would be casually dressed. BIG FAT FIBBERS. Ok no black tie but very suit focused. Sue and I stayed at the back like naughty school children, but at least we had access to the bar!
The AGM trundled on. A very moving presentation by a "first responder" from Bude. Basically if an ambulance isn't available this guy gets a call, he doesn't get paid, provides his own vehicle and fuel and does it "to give something back". Apparently its not the done thing to give him a tenner and tell him to go have a drink with his mates... :-(
Voting on officers, I had a minor crisis, Di is up against a home boy ie a Somerset Centre man. mmm Didn't last long Di is great for the job, vote cast, Di wins, yay!!
After a brief return to Cerys, we were back to the club house for the Saturday night Bassy wannabe after another failed quiz... No pictures it got a bit messy. Poured back into the van after another top night!

While travelling to Agetha Cristie's, Greenway. We noticed it was far too nice to spend time indoors.
This is Torbay in the picture.
So we turned round and headed to Brixham.
